Ole Brom er nordlending og motorsports-entusiast! Han elsker alt som går fort, og har et godt øye til både biler, båter fly og helikopter. Hans stolteste eiendel er en gammel russisk tanks, som han kaller den flyvende hollender. Vandrehistoriene sier at denne tanksen tidvis kan skimtes i det fjerne, rullende over Finnmarksvidda. Andre påstår at tanksen bare er oppspinn, og at Ole aldri har hatt noen tanks. Vi velger å tro ham. Uansett, er han mer enn villig til å dele sine meninger om de nyeste motorsyklene, bilene og jetskiene. Det han mangler av praktisk og gramatisk kunnskap, gjør han opp for med fargerikt språk og rå nordnorsk entusiasme. Det er lite får Ole så entusiastisk som et nytt kjøretøy! «Ho går som ei fetta på flybænsin! D e fan ikkje grænse førr fart på det rævhollet. Han flyg som han Satan på samba-sopp!» Oles språk er upåklagelig.
